I understand several TST hotels were raided about a week ago,
closing down a few syndicates temporarily.

1. What was the purpose of the raids and their timing?
The typhoon was the biggest since a swoop of Wanchai hotels
a few months back but seemed to be very little publicised by
comparison. Was it merely one in a series of regular raids by
LE to disrupt the syndicates' operations and let them know
they're being watched? Could it have anything at all to do
with the current nationwide campaign that has shut down
brothels, KTVs and saunas in cities across the mainland?
There has been speculation that some of the girls from
a notorious nightclub in Beijing that was shuttered have
materialised in HK, so a co-ordinated LE effort may not
be too far-fetched.

2. How were the raids carried out?
Did it happen like in the HK movies where dozens of
uniformed cops storm the establishment (some of these
were popular tourist hotels?), bang on doors, drag out
the chickens and their hapless patrons and march them to
a paddywagon, their faces obscured any way they can?

3. What happened to the girls?
Is it true that specific syndicates were targeted? It seems
JB, for one, shut down his entire operation for a week.
Another agent apparently moved all his girls to Tsuen Wan.
Are the LE capable of a surgical strike of such precision?
If so, their intel (some of which no doubt comes from
this forum ) must be really good. One of JB's
girls, Glory, was reportedly thrown into the clink for
a few days (on visa rather than vice charges?) before
being released. Any news of others being affected?

4. Were any bros caught up in the raids?
What happened to the punters who were in the wrong
place at the wrong time? Did they take your ID and
let you go? Or were there any other repercussions?
Are there any precautions a punter can take in a
situation like this?

omg more raids? id be pissed if some police guy barged in my session. what would happen to a uk punter like me? i only speak english but i am a chinese.

Firstly, they would put on their rubber gloves and check your rear end for contraband.  Then they will photograph your dick to see if it is adequate size and shape.  Then they will give you a real life rendition of a scene from the movie 'Deliverance' - the 'I wanna hear you squeal like a pig boy' scene... After that they will send you home with the hope that you will not punt again in HK

dude, looking at what you've contributed in this forum so far, you're demanding answers ?  

1) Go figure out.
HG gals are here on Tourist Visa.

2) Easy. Everybody in HK knows where these gals are located. Not that difficult to obtain which room numbers, etc from informers.

3) If caught, jail time in HK and sent back to Mainland. Re-entry to HK allowed in next couple of yrs, at China immigration discretion.

4) If bros carried HKID / passport, nothing will happen.


Why are you so interested?
This raid happened all the time, all year round in HK. No biggie......

My theory is that the HK police just think its better doing this rather than twiddling their thumbs all day

The amount of police that turn out when there's a big protest- you just have to think, in a low-crime city like HK, what do they do all day?

well, sometimes they come out in full force on Kimberly Road stopping all those hot rod cars while looking for gang members... i always run into them while punting

I just wonder how many of the girls get out of jail with a quick servicing of the cops - bunch or crew cut topped young lads with group of HGs in a van who they could not adfford to bang usually? Ibet they go through them like a dose of salts and let them go.

Thanks for your answers.

As you are well aware, raids happen all the time on the mainland, too.
But the current crackdown there is one of the most far-reaching and
long-lasting in quite a while, wouldn't you say? I see you have even
created a thread to consolidate information about it.

In the same spirit, I was wondering whether the size and frequency
of the raids in HK was unusual and, fortunately not having first-hand
knowledge of what happens when they are carried out, seeking info
about them, including what precautions one might take.

Also, I used to think that the HG scene was more discreet and less
prone to the attentions of LE than the walkups, but this now doesn't
appear to be the case.

there's no problem screwing someone in a hotel room.
all the police can do is...  check your ID or give you a dirty look.
but you are not committing any crime, so don't worry.

Dont worry so much about HK's LE operation.

No harm to punters. You dont get lock up, you dont get to go to the station to have coffee with the inspector, unless you do not coorperate or refuse to confirm your statement.

Worse, they just call your home and wife to come and get you.

Nothing legally wrong for punters to get caught in HK.


However, more precautions needed when punting in China. Hence thread created to gather news for visiting bros to heed upon it.

Definitely true, HK's police isnt as corrupt as the PRC ones....yet!

Really have to be on your guard in China, as soon as there's any word of raids in an area, i'd definitely most likely cancel a trip there

Dreamer old chap - there is an international section so where ever you are in the world you can contribute. You don't need to wait before you "someday" come to Hong Kong.

Actually... HK police WAS corrupt, just not corrupt anymore.
PRC Gong-An is not entirely corrupt, they just are being "flexible".  

yes HK police was super corrupt during the 60's and 70's, which led to the formation of the ICAC. it also led to a movie recently called "I Corrupt"

One needs to watch:  Lee Rock 1 and 2 as well as To be Number One (AKA BI HO) to appreciate corrupt cops in the 60s.
