It seems amazing the place can operate so openly. Are Saunas essentially tolerated in some areas by the Police like TST? In case of a police raid, is the business closed for good or does it open back up fast? Do the proprietors goto prison? If so who takes over? What about other employees like the towel boys?

Normally police and/or licensing authorities will check the sauna from time to time ... usually every week or two. If there is a police raid, it means a number of undercover cops have caught girls with their pants down and a series of arrests are made. Usually the management gets away with it as the blame goes with the girl ... unless the sauna has been caught a number of times then the licensing board will not renew the sauna's license. now, big brother is watching ... no more questions please.
