Telegram in the states

I’m recognizing that telegram is a toll for SW in other countries but what about the US?  I see the “people nearby” soliciting but is it real? I always thought it was all just scams that all start of with “I need $50 for deposit”.

Anyone stateside have any luck on telegram?

If not telegram what other app platforms are better for this?

I've noticed it varies. Asia seems to use Telegram and LINE. Europe seems to use Whatsapp. As far as NA, just whichever app I guess. Of the AMPs in the states I've visited, just been using Google voice.

I'd recommend not "finding" people on Telegram but rather find them on reg pages/website and then communicate on Telegram. A LOT of scams on Telegram. For example, don't find a group for NYC escorts on Telegram. Stick to reputable and reviewable sites, then if they want to communicate on Telegram, perfect. Never use it for searching.
