First time ever in thailand later this year and i was thinking Pattaya but since i discovered this forum and saw a lot of posts about HK.. i'm not sure

HK looks like a lot of fun too and with maybe more choices to party etc..
I'm gonna stay for about 3 weeks i think
Any tips or can anyone compare HK and Pattaya?

If you are doing 3 weeks, you can do both BKK & Pattaya. They're only 2 hours apart.

I am going for two weeks, do you where I can get mor reliable sweetie guide, Girlfriend experience or Russians girls ? Thanks.

If it were possible you may want to fly via Hong Kong for a couple of days, then on to Bangkok and Pattaya with a week in each. Return via Hong Kong and stay any remaining days.
With this itinerary you can sample all three places.

With a 3 week trip you can do both.
It's just a bus (or taxi) ride between both places. If you're worried about traveling with luggage, look for hotels that have luggage storage, have them hold your luggage until you return (ie. leave the check in, take the carry-on).

They are very different cities, so you will experience different things.

If you want GFE, I suggest you sign up on Thai Friendly and  start chatting up some you like. By the time you get there you could have several willing to spend some time with you if you play it right

@woot2 how you chat them up is just normal. Be nice, listen to them, think about making them happy before you. They want to be treated well by someone. Show them how you will do that

you should stay in both cities. 3 weeks in bangkok could be too much, at least in pattaya you can chill on the beach

There's so much things to do/try:

Here's my list:
shopping centers, markets, Lumphini park, Rooftop bars, poolparties, Massages (Thai, Nuru, etc), bj bars, gogo's, Kapoo clubs (Seen some with cosplay girls omg), Get a freelancer at Thermae

I will go to Pattaya for the beaches and maybe some scuba diving too
Thinking about a trop to some islands too (Koh Tao, Khp pha ngan)

I'm not sure if 3 weeks is gonna be enough haha

if I had 3 weeks in Thailand planned id start with 2/3 days in Bangkok.  go down sukumvhit way or even Koh san road if on a budget.  

most bars you can pick up girls for long or short time fun.   from a couple hours to the whole stay.  try avoid girly bars as you have bar fines.  

or have a different girl every day.

then head to Pattaya.  the americans didn't call it utopia for nothing.    again you can go with a different girl or lady boy every day or 2/3/4 if you have the budget and stamina.

then return to Bangkok and try a different area.  


if you move about a bit if changing girls its less messy. as if you go same bar the girl you have been with gets very jealous. or the other girls refuse  to see you.  unless you just want a couple weeks with 1 girl.


have fun wish I was going for a week id need 3 weeks rest.

also don't forget there are other amazing places Koh Samui is great chewing beach. .    go spread the love.

I would say Bangkok over Pattaya, especially if its your first time there. You have a much wider range of options available in Bangkok - plenty of reviews of girls and options right here in this forum by others.

3 weeks you can easily do both if not even more places.  Its a pretty long time for even both of them together haha.. If you must choose one I'd choose BKK any day over Pattaya. Theres significantly more things to do in BKK in every aspect.

On my first trip to Thailand many years ago I went to both places over 3 weeks. Times have changed since then but I would still say try both places rather than think of it as either or.

Bangkok is a major city and cosmopolitan in nature. There are lots of good places to eat and drink from basic street vendors to Michelin rated restaurants to trendy hangouts. There are museums (art, history, science and corporate). There is shopping from the mundane to the sublime. There are sites to see (Temples [Wats], Grand Palace, etc.). There are amusement parks. There is a zoo. There are several major Universities and Colleges. Not to mention various kinds and levels of adult entertainment some of which you will not find or have access to unless you have a Thai introduction. If you go to Thailand it would be a shame to not spend at least a week in Bangkok exploring all it has to offer. If you are of the mind you might even be able to explore it with a willing female tour guide or ten.

Pattaya has its own appeal. There is a beach there as it is seaside but, IMO, that isn't a reason to go there. There are better beaches if you are looking for a beach holiday. However, as has been said, Pattaya is only a couple of hours by bus, taxi or private car from Bangkok, so it is convenient to go there for a short break. Agogos, beer bars, a few discos, and plenty of party atmosphere. It still is an adult entertainment destination though I think its glory days have passed. There are some things to engage your time in the daytime but you may find it difficult to get up early after a night out on the town. While SCUBA diving is available I have never availed of the opportunity due to the negative reports I have read.

As you can tell from the tone of the above paragraphs I prefer BKK over PTY but I do recommend you try them both and see what is more your speed. Maybe something like 4 days in Bangkok followed by 2 days in Pattaya then decide if you want to go back to Bangkok or stay on in Pattaya a little longer.

I've been to Bangkok probably around 20 times in my lifetime, recently I've been going once a month (in the last 6 months or so) and I keep on telling myself I really should check out Pattaya but in the end there's just too much in Bkk. It's just so easy to get around, so many things to do & it's not just mongering.

I agree! Looks like there's so many things to do in BKK. But.. I'm very curious and i want to experiiment the Soi 6 vibe @ Pattaya. Looks like it's a unique spot so i can't go to Thailand without seeing it

If you have the budget Bangkok over Pattaya all day, everyday for mongering!

Went to three different high end spots when I was there early this year. Price ranged anywhere between 3k to 26k

Soi 6 is one of a kind. Probably the only place in the world with so many bars and girls in one long block.

Pattaya is better than Bangkok.  I just like the accessibility of everything.  Also, i found my favorite restaurant here which is my pitstop after a night of debauchery.
