While you can get there via bus, the ferry from HKI begins on the 19th. Once that happens, the flood gates of tourists will descend on Macau. The testing rule allows you to easily go for a day trip using the same RAT. Early reports are, however, that mainland visitors numbers to Macau are larger than HK. Perhaps it’s that pent up desire to “legally” gamble (and visit saunas
). I’m going to use a bit more caution for Macau and the rapid spread of Covid. I’m still hearing from mail and folks that the virus is spreading like wildfire and all the upcoming holiday will do is add fuel to the fire.
