Just want to share my experience the definite not-to-do.

Right after my last reply, I researched a bit more, and found out about PEP meds. The thing was, it is most effective within 3 days or 72 hours of suspected contact. Panicking, with a quick research, I ended up going to NTUH’s emergency at 11:30pm at night.

NTUH have a standard protocol for handing potential contacts. They took blood samples and prescribed the PEP meds. I had to see a doctor 3 days later for the program lot of PEPs. Had to take it everyday and for the last 30 days, I had been Uber stressed. Thought about how I might have simply avoided it all by telling the girl I wanted to use a condom. The PEP made me feel terrible the entire duration. On day 25, I went in to draw more blood for tests. And when I saw the doc again this week, he told me I am ok. I am so relieved.

Use your condoms lads.
