So this is my second time visiting Miko. Please see my first review in the Newbie section. I’ll keep this one short.

Firstly - massage skills are top notch, she’s trained, does some neck and back cracking, and an amazing groin massage with happy ending. And like some other bro said, she’s got some sexy new outfits - this time was a sexy sailor blue and white outfit. She looked good.

This review is not as glowing as my first time, for two reasons.

a) her phone was constantly pinging. Non stop, and she was replying to whoever was messaging her whilst massaging me. This is a complete turn off, and upsets me. I’m paying for her time, and I want her full attention... not just one hand weakly massaging me whilst the other is texting. It’s almost insulting. She’s clearly become popular, and I’m happy for her (and I actually signed off my post hesitating whether to share this hidden gem), but it caused a drop in service.

b) her price went up, with no explanation. Last time it was 600 massage + 300 happy ending + 100 for top off. This time, she asked me for 1,000 and didn’t take her top off (I didn’t ask - I assumed it was included in the 1,000), so I left without giving a tip.

All in all, I got half a massage, a decent happy ending, but she’s lost a repeat customer. Hopefully other bros get a better service!

CWB Miko: from the beginning when the clouds parted and revealed the light
emanating from the naked earth below . . . the litany of Miko postings have
been quite positive until recently. As others have stated, she liked the increased
business with various improvements to her quarters and couture.

Unfortunately, she has made the very predictable rookie error of forgetting
why the client is there. As longtimelurker stated, "I’m paying for her time and
I want her full attention."  longtimelurker is 100% correct.

Sadly, most WGs have limited education and even less business acumen other
than whatever was learned at "Street University." For instance, VoiceMail is an
unknown entity to most locals. It would, however, immediately provide a short
term solution for a slowly growing client alienation issue. An excellent skillset
quickly becomes irrevelant to a sober client as constant chatter is both annoying
and distracting. There are also inexpensive longterm solutions.

I am very appreciative of this report by longtimelurker as I routinely leave WGs
who refuse to stop answering the damn phone during my paid timeslot.

Whilst twice, et. al. have encouraged my seeing Miko as I search for Lingan in
HKG, this report kills any interest in her. If she re-evaluates her telephone habits
for the positive, then a reconsideration will occur. Until that time,

. . . another one bytes the dust.

So I had a chat with her about this growing concern with her new client base.
From her point of view is that there is a clear and present fear of losing the opportunity to have a sessions booked and therefore income.

I let her know that many of us find it a discount in our paid time.
But she replied by saying that if she can’t make money, she can’t afford to be where she is, etc. and the customer goes to other providers. She already separates herself from those who offer BJ and FS and relies on her “main skills”.

So I think it’s a catch 22 for everyone, her and us.

Her English is near zero so the voicemail option may work but messaging apps are the main culprit I’d say.

She’s a very simple woman and not savvy or manipulative like some so I would give her the benefit of the doubt. Obviously I’m biased as she’s been the savior of my back pains that have been chronic.

why doesn't she just update her Whatsapp Image with a shot of a message saying she'll get back asap? She could use English and Chinese..
It would be a shame for her to lose clients - I also got a bit peeved by her spending at least 10 of my 120 mins servicing others

Many thanks for chatting with Miko. What you describe is unfortunately a
very typical mainland attitude. Cityguy has a great suggestion re Whatsapp.

The basic issues for Miko:
1. I will loose business if I do not immediately book clients.
2. Hence, I loose income.
3. If I cannot make money then I cannot stay in my shop, etc.
4. My clients then go to other providers.

Solutions:
1. Miko's Number 1 selling point is her Massage Skillset*. She is forgetting
  THIS is THE REASON why she has so many new clients who are NOT GOING
  to other shops.
2. She is also forgetting she was in her current shop for how many months/years?
  at the pre-popularity daily number of clients and getting by [or ?better].
3. Competent personnel [on ANY level] are rare.
4. She does not understand when we [collectively] find a competent provider
  [of any service], we are grudingly willing to wait until a booking slot is available.
5. She needs (1) Voicemail with a Cantonese/Mandarin/English message that
  states she will call back shortly and (2) cityguy's Whatsapp solution. Both instantly
  provide a short term solution. Then when she meets a new client, she hands them
  a language appropriate sheet of paper explaining her booking drill.

6. She really needs to comprehend longtimelurker's complaint. When she is hired
  for X number of minutes, her attention is 100% on the paying client, toilet breaks
  excepted.
7. Messages are answered between clients [put a 10 minute break here.]
8. Competent personnel rarely starve unless they "piss off" their clients with bullhocky,
  an unfortunate yet frequent situation in HKG . . . . as I am told.

9. I do not believe in Catch-22 scenarios. By my experience, it is typically a combination
of (1) communication and (2) functional education or lack thereof. Professionally, I solve
problems for a living [all types except IT voodoo and where to find competent Lingan massage].


BootBoot, if you are willing, have another chat with her. She has great potential for
a very successful business for the rest of her working life. I genuinely hope she will
listen as your back [and those of others] need her. On her current course, she is headed
for a client haemorrhage which may not be fixable, a very sad situation for all.


*THE massage school is in Guangzhou. In HKG, there are 1-2 other massage providers
with excellent and likely similar skillsets. The one I routinely use is superb HOWEVER there
are "no extras of any type or kind." If you try, you will be permanently banned by the shop.
Hence, go for the massage, get the "happiness" elsewhere.

There are quite a few girls out there working on their own, just one person can take their reservations for them and as long as he does not get money or gifts for doing this he would not breaking the law … any volunteers ?

Maybe use a whatsapp booking integration app. I beleive there are a few online services thatd o it, timely and zapier, probably a few others.

I’m glad this review got so much response and hopefully Boot’s advice to Miko can be taken aboard for future service levels.

Sadly her lack of English makes it hard for me to communicate this to her, as I still believe she’s a gem.

Chaudement - maybe give it a couple of weeks and try her out. If it helps nudge you in the right direction, the texting is only when one is on their belly, on the flip there’s full attention provided, nonetheless, it’s your call!

seen her 4 times.... some quick thoughts

1) even tho everyone says it, its worth saying upfront her massage is amazing. no doubt otherwise i wouldn't be going back
2) first time i went i believe was 800 for 90 mins + 100 for oil + 300 for HJ. Subsequent times there was no $100 off for not getting oil. Not a big deal but a bit weird
3) as some has mentioned, she used to work at OPS - i used to go there alot so i'm used to their mentality which is basically upsell everything. Everytime i go there she has a new thing i should try... and everytime i reject it she gets a little pissy (tho not a big deal) but will make a comment like 'dont try it, you're missing out'
4) what people said about her phone is true. it's going off but it's not the biggest deal to me either (another common thing at OPS). that said, i dont really visit her at peak times and it would get really annoying if it kept happening

Will i repeat? Probably. I would prob see her even more if she had a bit more GFE (and extras)

Not been to see Miko for a few weeks but managed to yesterday.

Still the same, one of the best massages you'll get on the island and her back walking skills are phenomenal. Super accurate with her toes to crack my back from bottom to top, most masseuses can only do the top part.

She said that business had quietened down due to the Covid and was now only seeing 3 or 4 clients a day and during my time there her phone never rang once. However recall in previous sessions it rang a few times and she did answer the phone or message back but each time was very quick and she kept one hand usually still massaging me. I didn't really mind as he overall massage is so good.

I gave her feedback that some clients were not happy of her phone answering during sessions and she understood that but confirmed that as she's running the business herself she can't afford to not respond to a client. However said that if she's doing the prostate massage or HJ she never answers the phone lol (that would be a mood killer) also point taken and she will try to leave the calls if possible in future. FYI - She doesn't speak English at all and only canto/mandarin so can't say to clients in English she needs to answer the phone...

She charged me the same price as before, so prices have not gone up and she said there might have been some confusion as she has charges for different services. Anyways I asked what they were -

Dry Massage (1hr): 500
Oil Massage Extra: 100
HJ Cum + Undress: Extra 300
Cupping or Gua Sha: Extra 200

Goto Miko if you want a solid massage that will genuinely sort your back and stresses out. Especially her prostrate/lymphatic massage is amazing, if your looking for a chill and hot young babes best try Mia or Kama. I will return purely for health reasons of course to see Miko..!

Honestly speaking, I do not find her so super skilled in the massage, or I may have a lot of expectation at the only time I have been visiting her. Massage rating is ok but not outstanding, if compared to professional massesuse she is just in the average range.
Accordingly I believe that she is definitley overpriced, and in my opinion there are other choices of real good massage at market price as valid alternative to her.
Only point in her favour is that she is a cute and positive person and location is more discreet comper to others.
All in all, tried once and no more repeat.

I partly agree with you about her skill set, and as I stated in my own report on her she is good for a walk up but compared to some of the masseuse in veggie saunas she would be considered slightly above average … that said she is still probably the best walkup working right now (IMHO)
