Since the virus has closed the borders, I started to visit the bars with a couple of friends. Thought I would give an update on them to help some bros out in similar situation.

The bars we visit are all located directly in Sea World. You can take the metro to Sea World and exit A.


Mystery Bar.

Directly across from McDonald's. Sea World Exit A, you can see it from the metro. it is that close.

Full of women! But very push for drinks! Although on my 2nd visit I got angry with how pushy they are, they backed off. I drank with a lovely lady named Mimi, 8/10 for looks and a lovely body. This bar is small, it has a couch in the back, I was fingering this chick whilst she was giving me a handy in the back of the bar

My friend was with a lady whose name I forgot but also pretty. There are 7 or 8 girls in this small bar and 4 of them are stunning. But a couple are only teases and will not really do anything. My friend went back later and told me of a new rule in the bars here, if you want to use the 'back room' you have to pay a fee and 1K (negotiable), he said he got them down to 600 and this does not include drinks.

This is a new rule in all bars apparently but I have not asked anyone yet.

Bottoms Up. (Turn left at Pizza Hut)

Slightly more expensive for your drinks than other bars. Some fun ladies here too. Jessica is a lovely girl but only a tease, no action. Mei (I think) lovely body and up for fun.

Sunrise:

Many girls here are up for fun in their back room. Emily (if she showers!) nice body.

I used to love this bar, but they are all just teases, no action. If you want a good game of pool and chat, then start off here.

Meet (Used to be legends)

Why not bar closed, legends closed and they merged into MEET, at the old legends. I went crazy here last time and fingered two chicks in the corner Summer & another whose name I do not know. I got a HJ, played with them both for about 40 minutes, this might be my new favourite bar.

Some are closing or closed due to the virus. Annies is OK, opposite from Sunrise, but just had a quick drink so not too much info.

@Burgundy - I spoke to a friend about mystery.

The girls a very drink orientated here. He said about 700 in an hour on drinks, this does not include the back room. So drinks + 800 (ish) for the room, as the room is negotiable. My friends bill was 600 for the room as he spent about 700 on drinks, so his total was 1300..

Not every bar is like this, I found out over the weekend that Sunrise Bar does not charge for the back room.

Bars with backrooms that I know of: Mystery, Bottoms Up and Sunrise.

@watumb - the service is up to the girl, my friend said his girl gave him BBBJ CIM, remember YMMV..

But I have heard of other guys getting FS. The room fee does not include drinks for the girls. My friend said his girl did not ask for any drinks whilst in the room but asked for some before and after, as he had already spent 300 on drinks, he got the 1K cost of the room to include his previous bill. So he paid 900 before going into the back room.

I have found that > 800 in drinks will get you a HJ in the back room, and >1200 will get 2-3 girls in the back room giving a tag-team oil HJ with desert fever (wandering palms).  If you choose wisely (Emma or Yoyo) it is worth it.

Mystery bar will accpt a flat rate for back room, girl, hairy-handshake (BJ&HJ) and all drinks. Too much at 1500 if you ask me, unless the girl is spectacular.

Sunrise, I will have to remember the names. Emma, is she the Emily I am talking about that has been around a long time? I always find she stinks lol. I have been in the back room a few times but never spent that much there. But as I used to regularly that might be why.. I have know the boss for quite a few years.

The boss is Yoyo, or Sophie, depending on which decade you met her. Fastest HJ ever, if you are in a hurry. 0 to sploof in less than a few minutes even if you try to hold back.

Emma/anna has more subtlety, and the pair of them are an interesting combination.

Looks like the Zombie bar has been relocated to Old Shekou street at some point lately, don't recall when.
Probably rent was too steep at the Seaworld location as other places also seemed to be closed.

Yeah, it moved a couple of weeks ago. They messaged a friend of mine, rent was too high and no customers in that location.

We joked with them as we have started calling it "friend zone bar" when they asked why we stopped going. We told them you never do anything, we go to get some action.. not play pool. I am not asking for sex in your bar, but anything else would be fun.

Finally my first post after a long time following.

Interested to see YoYo and Emma get mentioned and felt I had to reply. I have known YoYo for many years in her various bars, always looked after me. Definitely got an amazing HJ technique, a sort of corkscrew action that is hard to resist as Randal says.
Emma has always worked in YoYo's bars since she arrived on the scene a few years ago so not surprised they make a good tag team. I have a soft spot for Emma (perhaps not always so soft ) so maybe I am biased but absolutely never smells, scrupulous about her hygiene. Very quiet and naive at the beginning, certainly no subtlety in her HJ then and very little English. How things change!! But I still find her a really nice girl.

Seems the bars are really struggling, have to wonder how long they can keep going. I see Star (HardRock Bar) has hung up her thong recently and packed it in. Probably not everyone's favourite but another one who has been a good friend to me over the years. Yeah, I know what some will say, they are all your friend while you have money in your pocket.

I went to Sunrise last week, took a girl named Lily in the backroom, but I got into an argument with them .. over money surprise surprise..

She tells me 400 for HJ in the backroom and no need to buy drinks, she tells me this when we are already in the backroom, just sat down. So I ask what is the alternative, you just keep asking for drinks..

Then, as we have agreed the 400 and we are "Mid session" she stops and asks for a double! WTF, I told her to f**k off, walked out. I told one of the bosses how pissed I was and I was not paying for her drinks and the 400 together, choose and I would not be coming back.

They waived the 400 fee, I paid for my drinks and stormed out.

Hopefully I will be coming to China after the Chinese New Year.  I've heard rumblings to that effect.  Probably a 50-50 chance.  I will keep my fingers crossed.

Not really a fan of the back room.  I've had some weird experiences with the back room scenario.  Not from the girls but from locals that had the impression that the girl I was playing with was their SO.  Most of them were a little drunk, so they were all easy to put down without requiring some sort of hospitalization on their part.  It's funny how the girls all try to distract them.  They can get pretty loud when they are all trying to stop a guy from looking for his woman,  One time in Bottoms Up I was playing with a couple of the spinners there and some guy walked in.  The other girls created a wall between us 3 and him and surrounded him closely.  It took me a while to figure out what was going on.  I had a good laugh.

I really prefer to take the girls back to my hotel, but apparently this is DOA.  I have not seen one report on that for years.  Definitely longer than I have been a member on this website.  I guess I could have written a few, but most of these were a long time before I was a member.  I've had some epic takeouts and some that were just so-so.  About a third were in Shekou and the others were in Dongguan (at the GoodViews).  The girl I bumped into in Seaworld in January was by far the best experience in Shekou.

So, are there any good takeouts in Shekou?  Any of them open to two girls at one time?   I'm assuming that the only bars remaining are in Seaworld. Since there have been zero reports in a long long time, I'm assuming the answer is a big NO.

Thankfully in all of my years here I have never once seen a Chinese guy come in looking for his SO.

As far as I know none of the girls are takeout, unless you get her WeChat and negotiate privately with the girl. Which I have heard takes time.. i.e. go to her bar a few times and build up a connection.

Concerning the deranged lunatics looking for their imaginary SOs, by "local" I mean ex-pats or whatever they're called.  The guy in Bottoms Up was a white dude that was old and thin with glasses and gray hair.  The few issues I had in Shekou (one time on chicken street and twice on dirty street, I think that's what they were called) and twice in Chang'an were mostly from either Australians or British guys with one guy that looked like he was Phillpino.  Hard to tell the accents apart when they're drunk.  A couple of times it wasn't a back room but rather the back dark corner.  After a few times, I was always looking over my shoulder for some guy to try and bust things up and "take his girl home with him".  That is why I prefer the hotel gig.  Nice and private with lots of time to explore.  On a side note, it is hilarious how most guys think they can fight when they've had a few.  10 seconds and they are all moaning on the ground.

The one time when it was a local Chinese guy was in Longgang at this banging nightclub.  This place was seriously off  the charts and crawling with hotties.  One of them took an interest in me.  She had on a skin tight purple with white polka dot latex miniskirt with no bra.  Perky with no body fat anywhere.  We were in the back corner and she was all over me like an octopus.  She even went under the table and sucked me dry.  She was definitely good at that.  After an hour or so of playtime, her "wingman" (definitely not as hot or sexy) grabbed her by the hair and drug her away yelling some gawd awful hometown lingo.  I thought it was pretty funny at the time, but someone must have called her boyfriend.  When I left the place at around 2am, he and two of his buddies were there to greet me.  Since I was the only blonde guy within two miles, I was an easy make.  I could see that they beat the shit out of her which did not sit well with me.  Anyway, they were all breathing when I left with her, but just barely.  The boyfriend started off the festivities by spitting in my face, and that was pretty much all she wrote for them.  The girl's name was Meiling and she stayed with me in Tangxia for a week while her two black eyes, busted lip and MANY bruises healed.  She was a mess.  With the wingman's help, she left the area for Shanghai to live with some friends to start a new life.  I bought her a plane ticket from Guangzhou and she was gone.  She was really thankful and let me know it many times during our week in Tangxia.  This was in 2012 so no WeChat or anything and her English was just OK.  We both changed our phone numbers a little while later and I never really heard from her after that.

I was there recently. Names seem pointless as none of the names mentioned so far were there (I'd say I interacted with 4/5 of the 8 girls there). There is a back room and one of my friends made use of this, but I did not partake. Its a bit of a boring place with not many visitors. My friend had a tab and seemed disgruntled with his bill at the end of the night so perhaps there was some padding going on. I simply paid every time I ordered a drink for me and the girl so, whilst my bill was substantial, it was accurate.

Takeout has been referenced in here as unknown but this is possible because I took a girl back with me twice (same girl). On the first night I was propositioned by another girl if I wanted to take her home and on night two I simply asked if she was coming with me when I prepared to leave. Damage was 2000 on both occasions though I did spend over 1000 on drinks both nights, probably over 1500. Probably got ripped off, but I wasn't in a negotiating mood. She stayed for a couple of hours on night one and then until lunch the next day on night two. Shower, Kissing, FS, but otherwise very vanilla. Another friend also took a girl back but via getting her WeChat and messaging her outside of the bar. Both times I was one of the last customers to leave the bar and it was very late so I don't know whether that has something or anything to do with it (less likely to leave if you were to just walk in and proposition perhaps? Obviously they will push drinks first to cost you more I guess too). Annie's bar across the way ripped us off and would definitely suggest avoiding.

Shenzhen is not my home city and this is my first post on this forum. I have accounts on other forums and regularly contribute on those but finding information as a foreigner in China has been very difficult. Can I ask that if you think my post has been semi-valuable you give me some karma points please so that I may read around other locations in China. I will contribute with reports, but I can't do that if I don't know where to go.

Post a report, you will get more Ks.. I would love to know which girl you took back. 2000 does seem much but I have never negotiated in Sunrise.

I always have a rule, I drink one drink and the girl gets 2 drinks. Most girls in the bars know my rule so most of the time they do not get padded. However, last week, I got really pissed in Bottoms up. I was quite drunk (I admit) and the girls in here know the rule as I usually visit one every couple of weeks and my average bill is usually 7/800 each time.

I always drink with the same 1 or 2 girls. This night, although I am drunk, my friends are not drunk, I had a customer meeting in the afternoon hence a few vodkas with this customer. Told the SO it would be a late one so all is good. Anyways, I had one vodka in BU, then, as I know I am drunk, I got a hot water to try and sober up a little. Somehow, my bill is 700 already, one vodka, water and I thought 2 drinks for her. She starts telling me I bought her 7 drinks, my friend just starts laughing at her BS. I told her:

"OK, I will pay, but I am never ever coming back to your bar, I will tell everyone I know not to come back to your bar.. so your choice", Mama San just says pay for drinks and not  the girls.

FFS.. given the current economic climate, I am a good returning customer, me and my friends are coming regularly and you pull this shit!!?? I told the Mama San keep this twat out of my sight when I am back or I won't be back.

Couple of additional points.

My friends girl cost 2500 and I think came from Annies. Another friend may or may not have taken another girl from Sunrise but its a cloudy situation. I believe I was quoted 1500 initially as I have two charges on my WeChat - one for 1500 and then another for 500 about a minute afterwards. However, I was completely drunk at this point and so I can not be sure this wasn't simply my mistake. Its a bit unlikely for me to mishear though because (1) I'm actually pretty good at understanding mandarin numbers and (2) usually they would write it in to their calculator or notepad. I would repeat if it was a case of simply paying her to come out of the bar for 2000, but the idea of going there and having to drink in there for a few hours would bore me and isn't something I'm looking to repeat. I may be very wrong, but I did get the impression that the girl could choose whether she wanted to leave with you or not. This certainly did not feel like a BKK or MNL girly bar where you can walk in and take anyone for a set price. I've been trapped in China due to COVID and am a distinct novice to the China scene which led to me being willing to take the hit in terms of price here because its the first availability I've seen. This isn't something I would regularly do and hope to find something at a more reasonable pricing level. In GZ, I know of a few bars like those in Shekou but I have never seen takeout be an option from them.

Slightly off topic, but I was approached by a girl in the main square whilst I was walking through there at about 1 or 2am too so I do think there are freelancers in and around the area / bars.


Agree with this. But they will always push their luck because most people don't pull them on it. But I am not a regular in SZ and its unlikely I ever will be as I live in GZ. One thing that does piss me off is that they could be less pushy on the drinks/bill and simply ask for a tip at the end and probably get it. They must get a poor cut of the drinks as it is.

As I have been in China for the last few months I have limited recent intel (avoided mongering in China due to lack of knowledge and, being honest, fear of being caught) but I have just noticed that there is a worldwide reports section so I will put a few reports up on there.

Some tips if you do get back:

1. Yes, it is the girls choice whether or not she chooses to go with you. I have seen some girls quote 3/4K to have a guy piss off and leave her alone. Mama San will 99% support the girls choice as the girl can simply leave and go to another bar.

2. DO NOT GO WITH THE FREELANCERS.. I have never one heard of a good story about anyone having a good time with these. I got ripped off about 7 or 8 years ago from 2 when I took them back to mine. They stole cash from my wallet.

3. Shekou is different than BK or MNL, here the girls will either cheat you or treat you like a king IMHO. I have a friend that has a couple of regulars, he barely has to pay for drinks  and bangs them 2 or 4 times month and pays them 600 or 700 a time. He has built up a rapport with these girls over several months though.. this is the difference.. it all depends on whether the girl likes you. And never spends much cash in the bars either compared to most.
