What the topic says! I want to know what Chinese people think about guys who date two or three girls at the same time in China these days. Let me hear your thoughts.

I'm talking about girlfriends, not WG. In Korea and Japan it seems common for guys to date several girls at once, and some guys keep two or three as girlfriends after a while. I wondered if it is common in HK and China though.

On average, China has more dudes than girls, but Tier-1 cities have more girls than guys.

I'm not sure if its common, but 50% of marriage end in a divorce here in the US. My bet is that cheating is an universal ritual.

In any case... multiple girlfriends and even multiple mistresses are oddly common throughout many parts of Asia, especially China and HK. I read an article some years back that polled men from western and Asian countries and they discovered a dramatic difference in the amount of mistresses. It was explained by some as a status symbol. As you start getting into the 1%, there is actually a social pressure to have one or more mistresses. Men are deemed to be successful only by the quality and quantity of their mistresses, and many of them bring these mistresses to social or business functions to show them off while the wife stays at home. There are even instances (albeit rare) of ‘sister wife’ type relationships. You can google ‘kept women’ or ‘ernai’ and find a number different articles discussing the phenomenon.

In some cities, there are whole housing complexes known to be ‘ernai’ housing where the vast majority of residents are mistresses kept by wealthy businessmen. I’ll admit a fascination with the concept due to the fact that a veggie massage girl I was mildly infatuated with actually suggested a possible arrangement with me. I really wish she wasn’t just veggie, lol! Too bad I’m far from swimming in money, although I’ve read that keeping a mistress can be unexpectedly cheap in the smaller cities.

I don't think it's common anywhere in the world. If the girls didn't come to you for your money then they will piss off when they know you cheat. the rest probably don't care.
