Sounds like the LE herded all girl bars into Seaworld. That will make them much easier to control and monitor.  And, close down whenever they see fit to do so.  One word from Xi and they will be closed down yesterday.  

Now that the dust from the National Day holiday has settled, and the girls should have returned from their hometowns, what is the overall “take home potential” of the current/reduced inventory of girls?  Obviously, the girls at Havana are a joke, but which of the remaining girls are consistently good to go?

So the bars will not be under the same rules as before. No telling how long it will last before someone gets greedy or desperate and allows something onsite that causes a crackdown.

I have no idea tbh about the take home option, it is too close to home for me so I have not done it in years. I might have a work night this weekend and will query about it.

Thanks Man.  But don’t knock yourself out on my account.  I won’t be back there until next month.  I’m just trying to get a pulse on the situation. Always looking for the best bang for the buck. I hate to get led on by the phony actors that proliferate the Shekou/Seaworld bar scene.  Such a let down to be used and burned.  I’m not in town enough to know who’s who, just 4 or 5 times a year is all my company will allow.

I heard a rumor there are some new bars opening up in the hotel near Sakura. Don't know any details yet.

Competition for Sakura could be healthy..... Not much going on in the neighbourhood.

Went to Legends and Zombie on Saturday night.

Not many girls in legends.. bit of a let down, same old faces.

There is some farm fresh in Zombie, all windows are covered enough now and they have some nice sofas you can chill out on. We only had a few beers & games of pool, so not sure about the take out menu. Also no toilet here, have to use the shopping centre toilet.

New bar open on Taizi Road. Its in the massage place next to Rantz hotel. Apparently its run by the past owners of Carefree. I peeked my head in, and it looks really nice. Has 2 levels and 2 bars.

Yes, different LE at Seaworld and Haichang street. But lets not forget, 3 years ago that same LE chased out all the girl bars to Haichang street. I'm sure they will do it again if they misbehave. I visited bars in Seaworld a few times. Spent some pretty good cash, but never got more than a shoulder rub. I'm sure some of those girls are available for takeout, but generally, there's nothing happening onsite. They are all there just to get the "big fish".

Spoke to a friend of mine earlier who said he got a handy at Zombie last week. Not sure if true or not. I doubt it to be honest.

I heard some bars might be opening up behind the Rantz hotel, good to know some already opened. Defo worth a look.

Zombie said they were going to get a toilet when they could, not sure where it would go, they said it was too expensive at the moment and they have a door connected directly with shopping centre behind. Havana was the same when it first opened.

Rock hard bar is now next to Hide out, across from enigma..

Also.. has anyone tried the food at enigma.. I heard their Mexican food was good so I went Friday night, it was horrible! we left almost everything!

Yeah new food at enigma is terrible. Guys that made the Mexican food open new place called Tacos and the food is still pretty good.

Sods law... we were going to go there first but it was too busy LOL so went to enigma for a drink and I was "I heard the Mexican food here is good."

Chances are I will be on a guys night out this Friday so I can check out a couple of places around Sea World..

For certain types of ethnic food, I only order from places that specialize in that type of food.  Pizza at a good pizza joint, Mexican food at a good Mexican restaurant, etc.
I would NEVER order anything from Enigma.  Bu hao for sure.  Just does not seem like a clean and healthy place.  Lots of decent places in Seaworld. Enigma is not one of them.

So, if we have finished with the restaurant reviews...

Can we get back to reviewing the best HJ for minimum drinks, by the least minging provider?

I suggest we discuss both sit down service and take away...

That’s a great idea. Why don’t you lead the way.  This thread is 18 pages long and what you are advocating is pretty much non-existent.  The HK Walk up, walk in, walk away, etc gives all the blow by blow details.  Realistically, the Shekou Bar Crawl doesn’t offer anything even close to that. Perhaps there’s an emotional attachment difference between an HK Honey Girl and a Bottoms Up or Zombie Bar Girl.

So, if we have finished with the plethora of reviews of the post Shekou LE reorganization effort of the now non-existent sit down and take away bar girl services....

Can we please return to the Seaworld restaurant reviews?  I am arriving in a less than a month and would like to know where the best food is served, both sit down and take away. This appears to be the only action remaining in Shekou.  

I’m sure that the Seaworld LE has whipped the remaining  bars into shape so that they are more Havana-ish in how customers are treated.  Nothing goes on except for the buying of overpriced, watered down drinks and the teasing of customers into thinking that there might be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  After a few too many drinks, a bro will think anything is possible. Am I spot on?  Or way off base with my assessment?

I see zero evidence of anything going on at the bars left standing in Shekou. Was Obe correct in his RIP declaration?   Perhaps so.  Not sure I believe this, but last month, one girl from a more prominent Seaworld bar told a business associate of mine that the LE will randomly track the after hours movement of girls to see if they go home, or to a nearby hotel. If this is even remotely accurate, I’m sure it is intended to spook the girls into submission.  Even the rumor of would deter most girls. Obviously there are ways around this LE tactic, but I’m not sure the girls will risk it.  It used to be you could leave the bar with the girl on you arm at any time during the night. A few years later, you had to leave first, and then the girl would follow about 30 minutes later. Then, a few years later, the girl would have to leave after closing and show up at your room at around 4am.  No thanks. See the LE induced trend?

So, is Shekou now just a money pit wasteland with no hope?  Or, are there some glimmers of hope still remaining?   If so, then what specific bars and what specific girls are most promising?   Or does anyone even know? A list of what bars to go to....and what bars to avoid would be nice. Obviously Havana is well documented as the #1 bar to avoid.  Sunrise Bar was also a no go for anything on site or after hours. So, I know that some Shekou bars and bar girls are only good for flirting.  

Also, a new, up to date list of the bars left standing would also be nice from one of you expats enjoying southeast China on a daily basis.  It would help out guys like me that only make it over there once a quarter and have no idea what’s going on.  Apparently, a lot has happened since I was there in July.

Zombie bar - 4 girls working here, 2 nice looking ones, one is Anna or Annie, from old zombie, nice to chat with and not too pushy for drinks, other girl is farm fresh, no English and really cute.

I was just being snarky on the restaurant review request.   I’ve probably had half of the menu items from 75% of the restaurants in Seaworld.  I always try to mix things up a bit. I can eat well on a heathy company per dium.  The lamb chops at Gold Coast are pretty good.

Sounds like most of the bars are history if only 8 are remaining in Seaworld and no others are realistically left anywhere else. I can recall twice that amount on Taiza road near the Nanhai. What about Purple Charm?  This bar isn’t in the Seaworld plaza area, but it is in same block.

What I am really looking for is something like the normal format for a punt.  To know that there are farm fresh babes here and there helps, but these can also be dead end money pits. Some girls are a 5/5 at the bar and a 0/5 in the sack.

Blah....blah.....blah on the details of the experience. Don’t need a novel, just some sort of verbiage detailing the night, both at the bar and afterwards.

This is typical and almost mandatory for HK punting reports.  So, the $million question is, Why is this never done for Shekou bar girls?   I’ve never seen one.  It’s nice to know there are hot girls somewhere, but that doesn’t mean much sometimes. Is it because of the secrecy required because you don’t want LE to know what’s going on?  Or, is it because these girls are more or less like girlfriends and you don’t want to share?  So, I guess I’m just a little confused as to the experience reporting differences.  

I think I’ve beaten this one to death so I won’t bring it up again.  Just would like to see some detailed new reports vs. went here, had some drinks, played some pool, spent too much on drinks, one hot new girl with minimal English, had a good time, etc.

So let's put this behind some RA, and STOP SHOWING THEM. They may be giving you "entertainment" but remember it is not exclusive to you, and they don't cate about you, even (especially)if they call you a "boyfriend"
