Here’s my report in Bangkok during the King’s death mourning period.

During this time, all night spots will close early (midnight or 1am).
Loud music are not allowed.

I visited the Red light district of Huay Kwang, Ratchadapisek.
It’s very easy to reach this place. Just take the MRT to Huay Kwang station. Follow the exit towards Emerald Hotel.

The popular Nataree massage parlor was closed (since it was raided back in June).
While walking pass Nataree, several managers escorted me to Hi-Class. It’s a massage parlor located just behind Nataree.

Thais can pay respects to king lying in state in the emerald palace for 3 months.  the cue time for this is 7 hours. Then there is a cremation and a funeral. At some point there will be coronation of the new king. Not right away. Maybe after the one year morning period. Not set yet. all these events will effect life in BKK as they occur
