and i tend to worry less about the issue of my wife "finding out"as i am going with a WG who is younger than my daughter.

i just went over 30 not too long ago, and already i'm starting to lose my stamina (compared to my early 20's)... i'm amazed if there are any real 60+'s who are still punting.

I always get mistaken for being a lot younger than i actually am - i.e. almost 30
but people think im 23 etc.

mongering and who is the real"veteran" in that department - (ie. 20-30 yrs) in the game!

I am in the 20-30 group.   I'm 26.  I too am surprised that the majority of members are 20-30.  I figure that mongering is something for people in their 40s to 50s where their financial position allows them this type of lifestyle.  I think that there are more members in my age group because we grew up in the age of the internet.  There are just more people my age that participate in forums.  There is also a certain curiosity about this type of lifestyle.  Members from 20-30 have just recently gotten jobs and are beginning their career.  It is the first time we have come across a steady stream of income and are trying to figure out how to spend it.

There are probably more people in their 40s to 50s pariticipating in mongering.  But they are probably just not online.

For the younger crowd, sometimes its cheaper to monger than have to chase that girl.  After paying for meals, going out, and investing a lot of time, mongering seems to just be more efficient.

What do you guys think?

I'm the same as you. 26 as well, and was suprised when the results of the poll came out and 20-30 group was most popular.
I thought 40s and 50s would be higher as well.

In response to your question about chasing girls, for me it's not about it being cheaper than taking a girl dates. Mongering is easy... sometimes (especially after a long day at the office) you want a quick fuck, even if you got a girlF or wife, sometimes you want variety...don't think I could eat a steak everyday of the week, sometimes you want a hamburger LOL.

But dates are still good! I enjoy going to a nice restaurant with a nice girl and having nice convos. Sometimes I enjoy the challenge of going clubbing with my mates and chatting up a girl, makes you feel good when you pick them up and you know it aint because of your loot.
I've come up across a few working-girls who tell me that they like me and to come back and see them cause they're gonna miss me... Yeah right! Miss my wallet more like

same here I am actually younger. Mongering is cool to me because the worse I can get (besides from STD's) is a bad exp and have my wallet hurt at the same time.....

Once upon a time, I was deeply in to a girl, thought about marriage and kids and all those other sweet little BS fantasy....  of course it pop (thx to a few of her fucking friends and the fact that she comes from a family very well off, I didnt know that she was that well off when I knew her, chased her and got her)... hurt for about a year a 2, my Best friend came to my rescue, when in beijing, organize me a girl I decline (shy) then she raped me (ahhhhh ) and..... I loved mongering ever since......... sounds pricey the first time HKD 800, but if you think about trying to keep your GF happy and shit like that it would cost more..... and most importantly no strings attached and no broken hearts....

Any poll on this forum would probably skew younger than expected.  The reasons are many but here are a couple:

- Internet users are younger than general populace
- this being the English forum focusing mostly on mongering in hong kong will attract a lot of expats (many who make quite a bit of money) who are younger and single with disposable income (if you did the same poll in Thailand, the results would be older due to all the retiree mongers there)

Although I don't think it is necessary to state my exact age, I will tell you that I am in the more mature percentile. I am sure many of you younger members will be happy to hear that your interest in sex doesn't diminish significantly as you age. On the contrary, I am happier than ever to spend a few dollars to enjoy the company of one of the young beauties available.

Others have said it but I'm also amazed that 50% are under 30. I was expecting the over 40s to dominate.
