#2 Post at 27-1-2010 02:07  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L The Seaview Hotel is in Nanshan, by the Hua Qiao Cheng MTR station.  Nowhere close to Hooker Alley.  The good news is that it's pretty easy to get there, about a 20 to 25 minute direct MTR ride to Guo Mao station, then walk 3 blocks to Hooker Alley. The latitude and longitude coordinates are 22.534561,113.986062

#8 Post at 28-1-2010 00:53  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Century Plaza is right adjacent to the Luohu train station.  So although it is walkable to Hooker Alley, it would probably be at least a 30 minute walk.  However, there are other apartments, such as the Pink apartments that are close by. A 5 star place such as the Sunshine Hotel would certainly be very very close - about 3 minutes to walk over there.  Crowne Plaza and Panglin are also 4 to 5 star hotels within a 5 minute walk.  Lots of hotels in that area, I'm trying to find a decent one myself for real cheap.

#10 Post at 29-1-2010 01:15  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L there's certainly nothing wrong with the area where Seaview is located.  A very nice area.  As mentioned before, it's only about a 20-25 minute MTR ride over to Hooker Alley. I did a lookup on 4 star hotels in SZ Luohu, and there's 3 within very close distance that you should check out (and let me know).  All are less than 5 minutes walk to Hooker Alley: Shenzhen Gold Hotel - 4 stars, from 330RMB a night Luohu Hotel (Shenzhen Luohu Dajiudian not to be confused with other similar-named hotels) - 3.5 stars, from 304RMB/night. Haifu Hotel - 3.5 stars - from $224RMB/night. A bro reported on this place (do a search) and said it was very nice. Hongfeng Hotel - 3.5 stars - from $304RMB/night
