Probably because more toursists in TST right?  And I have to say many of them in that area are hot!  But they only come to the hotel, not many have the place outside.

Yeah seriously, get some more girls over to Hong Kong side. There are plenty of hotels in CWB and Wanchai.

Hmmmm, I don't know. My place of business is in Hong Kong and I feel very comfortable mongering in TST or even as far
north as Prince Edward. I'd hate to meet an acquaintance walking in or out of one of these places   

But I agree, it's tough to find good girls in HK Island.

Perhaps the ample supply of 3/4 star hotels in the area helps. Even in Wan Chai or Causeway Bay, you probably will not find as many such hotels.

For me .....convenience.......

- Just 10 mins to get to hotel(s) in HK island, then head straight home...........
Even bump into colleagues/frens.....plenty of back up reasons.......oh I am on my way back home, oh going for something and on my way to such and such place......oh here to meet Mr.xxx for lunch/dinner. Less suspicious!!!!

- TST/Kwln....if bump into frens/colleagues....they will ask "Why are u doing in this part of Kowloon??"".......ehhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

As long as you don't bump into them in the hotel's corridor. (unless they are coming out or going into the same room that you are entering or exiting )

The Chung-King Mansion? You don't know that?! OMG
This is an old, very old, and very controversial building that is near the Holiday Inn in TST. The gov't has wanted to tear that building down since I can remember. It's on Nathan Rd.  It is a guest house, hostel, etc. It is old, drity, cochroach infested, need I go on?

I stayed there once many years ago, and felt it was not bad, but I have heard some interesting stories about that place.

I could be wrong, but I have always saw it and heard of it as the Chung-King Mansion. hahaha.  Now every nationally stays there. When I was there even the Japanese were staying there. At that time I did not see one cochroach, but if you opened your window and looked outside on either side, boy it was messy, especially in the center hole of the building, garbage thrown all over the place hanging off air conditions, etc. I used to have a picture of it, but not sure what I did with it...

Nope! That is even a different street! The building doesn't look NEARLY that good!! The Chung-King Mansion is on Nathan Road.  Old, looks horrible.  etc.
