Hard to believe that a U.S. President can win a peace prize while engaged in two wars. Can some one please inform me as to why Obama has gotten a Nobel Peace Prize when he has yet to do what he has gotten the prize for?

Obama will only deserve it if he gets out of Iraq and Afghanistan. But, in Afghanistan, it looks like he's gonna repeat America's mistake in Vietnam. Hope I'm wrong because America will never win the war in Afghanistan. Even the British Empire could never fully subdue Afghanistan so the Americans have no chance.
