Usually I'll tell them I'm married as I don't want any entanglements. I recently read an article where single guys are putting on rings to wear at job interviews, thereby inferring that they are married to their potential employer. Apparently this improves your chances of getting the job.

I guess being divorced will give us a plus point to get WG's attention...

If you want a WG freebie you'll have to maintain some sort of contact with her which leads to endangering your anonimity. Your wife is much more likely to find out if you're spending more time with one person. It's just more dangerous. You don't want to be like Tiger Woods.

Sometimes they make some comment about having a wife since they see my ring and we talk about it more. I don't think it really matters, it is not as if I am the first married customer they have had. My wife knows what I am doing so I don't need to worry about them making any trouble, but anyway in Asia it would seem WGs know their role and are not usually interested in making trouble for their customer's families.

My principle had always been, "if I am not asked, than I just shut up." If I am asked, it will all depends on the situation, the mood and the girl I am with to answer it. WG no matter what are working, whether you are married or not, it does not matter at all to them, we are still their customer.
