Notifications of replies to my posts in this forum?

Is there a way to know if someone replied to my posts?  I am not getting any notifications in my email nor do i see an option in the Member's CP.

Hmm.  I just checked the checkbox on the left "Email Notification" can someone reply directly to this post to see if it works for me?

I'm replying to myself because "post #3" is the only one where I checked the "Email Notification" option.  You guys replied to my #1.  Will let you know results after this.

Edit: Test results: I didn't get any email notifications.  Either the "email notifications" function is broken or it doesn't work when I reply to myself.

Well some forum threads are very inactive.  Like people may reply to you several days/weeks or even months from now.  If there were no notifications then I could easily miss someone's reply to me.  I have still yet to figure this out.  For the record I checked the "email notification" box for THIS post too so if anyone wants to reply to THIS post I could also confirm if the function works or not.

Just to let you know there are a few functions in this Discuz engine being used in this forum do not work.
This engine is a very old version and some functions have gone out of sync and never fixed ...

On the pink bar at the top, click "My".

The most recent five replies to threads which you started will be displayed under "Last five threads".

And under those is "Last five replies", where the most recent five replies to threads which you didn't start but which you've posted in are also displayed.

Then look at the top of the nav bar on the left.

"My Threads" displays your threads, along with the most recent reply date and name of poster for each one. These get cleared out periodically, the timing of which I haven't figured out yet!

"My Replys" displays the threads you've posted in (regardless of who started the thread), along with the latest reply date and name of poster. Again, these get cleared out sporadically...

Hope this helps you to keep on top of your popularity!!

Yes.  I can confirm now that the "Email Notification" function does not work.

Wow thanks for the info.  Those functions which show lists of threads related to self are very useful.  I bet the vast majority of the people here don't even know of its existence.  I wonder if even twiceAweek knows about them.
