I was in Pattaya and Bangkok 2 weeks ago, stayed for 5 days (same amount of time I spent in Bangkok few years ago), wish I stayed longer in Pattaya - it was a absolute
paradise, the weather was over 30 degrees (HK during this time was extremely cold and heavy rain.. super depressing, needed to just get out of there), the food was delicious,
fresh fruit and vegetables, I was drinking fruit and veggies multiple times a day, going to random night markets and eating so many snacks, tried a body oil massage (real

Bangkok - like a completely different world. I was staying in Walking Street area at a girl-friendly hotel, right outside my place was all the bars and clubs, super convenient place
for accomodation. Pattaya I swear, it never sleeps, people partying all night right up to 5am - could hear the music and ambience in my room, but didn't affect my sleep.
The room was only $444 HKD (2,066 THB) for 3 nights, the room itself was amazing, massive kingsize bed, plenty of space, and a window that opened - also had a good view,
could smoke weed by the window (100% legal in TH), wash my socks/underwear in the bathroom and dry it by the window sill for few hours), I will most likely go back to the
same hotel again.

GETTING THERE:
Checked airfare and saw it was very expensive to fly into Pattaya directly from HK, saw prices from 6k+, so did HK > BBK for 2,474.00 return with HK Express, cheapest I could
find at the time. When I landed in BKK airport, I took the bus to Pattaya, it was around 340 Baht if I remember - most important thing is to buy the ticket early as the shuttle bus
only has a limited number of seats, if the bus is fully booked, you need to wait more than an hour for the next one. There are 2 buses that go to different parts of Pattaya.
ARRIVING IN PATTAYA
When I got to Pattaya bus station, I got a ride from one of those drivers on the bike, as soon as he saw me walking he came up to me and asked me where I was going,
he charged 150 THB for a ride to Walking Street, gave him 200 but then he started yapping and yapping, he didn't give me my change and rode off, that little rascal.
Checked into my room, showered, and charged my phone, then went out - walked around for the first night to see what the area had to offer - plenty of high-end clubs, bars,
weed shops, cheap massage parlours (with old ladies, legit ones I'm guessing), didn't talk to anyone I ran into on street - ended up going to Burger King and buying some food
to take back to my room, ate it and called it a night. Was up super early that day, needed rest for tomorrow.
Woke up early and spent the day walking around the long beach area - went to a weed shop and bought some stuff and rolling paper - the girl that served me was gorgeous!
