Worth visiting Tokyo for Soapland as foreigner?

Hi bros! I'm an ABC who will be visiting HK soon and am considering a short visit to Tokyo as well (not just for play but sightseeing too). I've only tried nuru in HK once a few years back, but I remember it was a good experience and also not very expensive. I'm an English speaker but can speak enough Cantonese for the massage places in HK.
I've read that the Soaplands in Tokyo usually don't accept foreigners, and if they do there's an upcharge. For the bros who have gone, is it even worth trying if visiting there or is it better staying in HK for these activities?
Thank you!

I haven't been to one yet but the last time I was in Tokyo I was walking around the Yoshiwara neighborhood just north of Asakusa which has one soapland next to the other. Just walking around the streets the managers of the shops tried to usher you into their stores, so definitely foreigners are more than welcome there. I didn't inquire about the prices though but will correct that mistake next month.

From what I've read and experienced, unless you specifically go to a foreigner focused or maybe high end spot, even if they let you in the girl won't be nearly as good as what the locals will have access to. Definitely helps to be able to speak Japanese

Unless you can speak a little Japanese, I'd stay away from most unless there is one that caters to foreigners only.  you'd better off finding an escort online and picking one that speaks little English.  and I definitely stay off from watering holes at any of the major party centers like Shinjuku or Shibuya.  less reputable places will take advantage of you as a foreigner.

Search Tokyo on this forum, lots of good information about soaplands, you can even find my post that summarizes the list of ones that seem to be foreigner friendly
