If you are going to fork out good money on a Patek,then i would look on there website and make sure they are an authorised seller.

Suggest you look at major auction houses for vintage Pateks, particularly if you are interested in manual movements.  Quality assured, condition honestly assessed and sure to be non-faked.  Christie's cheaper but Sotheby's watch department has better expertise.

This advice is from personal experience.  Good luck!
