I had great time and luck in Jakarta, this was travel for leisure/mongering. Tinder has been so average for me in HK. I concur with your strategy. Usually use it to good effect in Jakarta, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh. Freebies more than paid

My experiences with Tinder has been good in Jakarta( not saying Indonesia, because Bali is tourist pricey) , Philippines, Cambodia (not many choices, can look around) and ho chi minh.
