Chung King Mansion

I've only been there one time. An Indian guy, who was born in Hong Kong took me and a bunch of other guys. We walked
through a maze of corridors until we enterd a doorway that was completely unmarked and inside was an Indian Restaurant.
I'm sure it was illegal but we had one of the the best Indian meals I can ever remember.

There are lots of Indian's in that area as there are markets behind and around the mansion. Lots of Indian's have stores there. Very interesting place.  Yup the maze of corridors, easy to get lost in. ha ahaha.  I bet the meal was good, wish I could have found that place. haha

Chun  King Mansion...shld be the one next to the Holiday Inn.....I passed there few days back......the Indian lamented to me "Leng Lui, Leng Lui"!!! I smiled and said I want curry only.......locals tell me the gals are indians and non-chinese.....really low standard....

There is even a film about Chung King mansions (I think it is a cantonese film with subtitles) but quite a famous one

Problem is, there are thousands of owners, so difficult to do anything with it although it sits on a prime piece of real estate

Would not be my choice for a romatic rendez-vous

Yes, I think you are right, there is a movie about it.  The market next to it is great, but easy to get lost back there.

I totally agree! I almost never venture out of HK Island!! Macau to me is so much better than HK in terms of girls and service though.

HK = convenience & time efficiency
Macau = way better value!
