Hotel Reservations in TST

Will be in TST in a couple of days and am interested in some TST Hotel Reservation girls, can any one tell which hotel they will likely to send me to?
If listing the hotel name is not allowed, then a street and intersection will work.
I'm not very fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin (just want to do a couple of hotties) if given an address in English I could find it.  I'll be staying at the Renaissance in TST.  Will it be walkable if given enough time?
Don't want to be late.
Any help is appreciated.

You could quite possibly walk the entire TST district in a day. It's not the distance you should be worried about. It's spotting the many hotels, big and small, dotted around the place. No idea which hotels they usually stay in. Best advice is to just catch a cab, or just ask your hotel conciege for directions if you want to walk. Have him write down the hotel's name in Chinese. Some cabbies may not know English. Good luck

My understanding is that you will usually have to call the papa/mama-san again when you reach the hotel. (and they will often not answer or give you a room number if you call from a different phone) For overseas visitors, this can be a real problem if you don't have a local cellphone. Anyone has a good suggestion to overcome this problem?

A local SIM card can be bought so cheaply nowadays. You can get them from electronics chain stores like Fortress, or you can buy them direct from the local mobile operators like Smartone, 3, PCCW, Sunday, and New World who have shops dotted around town. You can also get them from shops outside the arrival gates at the airport. No contract is needed. Hope this helps!
