I personally believe Man made God in His own image Somewhat more scripturally: religion was made for man, man was not made for religion But as a general concept of something being bigger and stronger and ultimately benevolent aside from ourselves, the idea of God has merit.   Anyway, at the end of the day I definitely DO believe in God, just in case He does exist and is out there keeping score ... if he doesn't and isn't, it isn't going to matter that I was wrong! Anytime somebody proselytize - even atheism, it usually just becomes a sort of shouting match.   There's really NO accounting for one's faith - after all, it is just that - faith. What I'm always wary about when talking about religion and politics  is that there is NO 1 correct answer - just arguments and if it gets heated up....well, IMHO there really is no place for this on a sex forum.
