If she had not been abandoned at the age of 15, and had not been picked up by a (female and apparently caring) pimp, and she had instead chosen to have sex for money the way thousands of other girls do, her article would be very very different She's really talking about how abusive pimps can be, especially if paid sex is illegal, as a result of which any pimp can threaten a vulnerable girl with choosing between jail time for her immediate past client or taking just-one-more future client.   I have no issue with pimping being criminalised, as it is in Hong Kong.  And I'd like to see a much stronger safety-net for young women, so they feel they do have a choice.   Nothing better than paying for sex with a girl who wants to do it ... the reciprocity is what makes it OK Recent Ratings MothToAFlame   3-9-2015 23:37   Acceptance   +2    Hear Ye!  The Mayor has spoken!
