Can any local bros explain to me what is so funny about the name Richard Billingham? My comepany has a client in town from the UK and we usually call him Dick Billingham, but my local colleagues collapsed laughing when they saw his passport in which his full name is Richard.
They wouldn't explain what is so funny about this. Is this a character from a movie or something?

its often the other way round, where chinese names are made fun of when romanized!
