WU locations

My brother and I are thinking about visiting HG.  Of course we'll want to spend some time
with WG's and some in the WU locations.  What would you suggest to first time visitors as to
best method to get to the various locations.  Seems there are scores of locations, neighborhoods.  
We're Assuming we will not have easy access to a computer to print out the picture locations.
Do we need a visa go to the mainland or Macau?
