Not exactly sure what is so intriguing as to the 2nd sentence. As to the first sentence, I've rarely been asked to pay first. Apparently, the problem is more pervalent with drunks, when they would refuse to pay after sex .... and because they are so drunk they might not even know whether they have money to pay at all!

I can see it being better for the WG's as some may have had bad experiences with jerk customers. I've never paid first in Hong Kong, all the girls seemed fine with that.
