Anyone Have a Photo Of Front Entrance Of King Hing?

I know a pretty basic question but I am in the area for 4 days and honestly when you get to some of these dense locations it is difficult to figure out where to enter.

Is the address 52-54 Argyle and the address is above the door? Does it say King Hing Bldg.?

I just don't want to walk into someone's apartment building or video arcade.

Between Nike and Converse. Here’s a pic from Google Maps.

Sorry I could have risked an overlong rating comment but I fear a big chunk of this question might be cut off.

Is there any logic/signage/layout for who is on what floor (e.g. Thai, PRC, Russian)?

Is there a lift and is it likely to stop 1/2 way between floors so the HKFD has to rescue tourists from a ho house on the news at 11?

Yikes. Been a while since I visited (there was a raid a couple months ago and the place cleared out for a bit...I think it’s back in full swing now). I think there may be a lift, but I’ve never tried it. I’ve had better luck on top 2-3 floors. Russians tend to be there and to left of stairwell. Some hot young Chinese too. Fun to explore!

Also if you read the Walk Up review section you can find some recent posts on KH.

Sorry but that doesn't look like the front entrance. It is next to a food stall shop. For anyone looking for the entrance a quick google maps search of King Hing Building will show you a photo of the front entrance.

I have seen two addresses for this building, at 52-54 Argyle (which was the street named when it was raided) and at 97 Fa Yuen street. And googling Converse puts it at 62 Fa Yuen which is way south of 97. And one Converse on the 8th floor of a mall, so that's obviously not it.

Google mapping King Hing building helpfully comes up with both addresses. But, and I have not gone yet, what it looks like on the street view is that it is next to a food stand and it says 52-54 Argyle above the door but that door looks like it's on Fa Yuen. So everyone is right.

Is the entrance on Argyle or Fa Yuen? I am thinking Fa Yuen but the official postal address is 52-4 Argyle according to the sign above a door.

This is why I asked originally, two street addresses one building.

The entrance is on Fa Yuen St and is beside a very busy food stall.

When you put in the building name (not address) in Google Maps it does show you the right entrance. For addresses in Hong Kong and Google Maps you have to search the building name not the address. Buildings in Hong Kong often have entrances which aren’t on the same street as their postal address.

Yes, I have found several buildings that way but interestingly search in Maps and here's what one sees (yep you can choose from column A and column B)

Many thanks for the clarification. Will wander by tomorrow for a lark. It is 5 minutes on foot from where I am so much closer than Jordan whether MTR or on foot.

Thanks for all the help. Where I come from people would be shitting cats if buildings mostly all had names (a few do like the big bank buildings) but more so if it had an address on one street (like Argyle) but it's entrance was on another street (like Fa Yuen). We have lots with entrances on multiple streets but none I can recall with one on X despite address on Y.

This sort of thing makes visiting here more interesting.

Photo taken today from Fa Yuen and the current extra high quality sign above the door

It's basically the most popular badminton shop in the world!!

First few steps up and to the left is where the lifts are.. Very rickity and only really fit about 5 guys at a time.

Keep going up the steps will take you to the entrance to the badminton shop. Hang a right at it down and keep going up and each floor from there on is pretty much where all the girls are.. Don't go to early (before 2) there are slim pickings and a lot of the corridors leading to more doors are closed off.

Hope that helps.
