Source: another international forum.
Nature: on LINE girl/agent insists she needs credit for her phone. She will ask you to by a voucher and send her a picture to verify you bought the right one. They will then sell it on or redeem it by reading the serial number.
Recourse: live and learn...

Male guys with phone will show pictures of girls to come and choose.
Then she can be asked to meet you at the hotel as per these guys.
Then you are taken in a multiple room location, appears to be a spa.
Line of girls is presented. You choose. They will send the girl to the spa room.
She will bring you to a mood to have the deed there. Then she leaves to wash her off.

This is where the things turn bad and ugly.Four guys enter the room hold you and take your wallet.
Makes a charge of 1000-1500 usd on each card or try ATM. They do not steel belonging like phone or gold rings etc.
They start to beat you also, threat to call your home as what you have just done is illegal in china.
I experienced this and did not give my ATM number but of the two credit cards they were able to scam me for 1800 usd.
Took $500 usd cash from my pocket.
My suggestion stay safe from guys and women advertising for the fun.
I see many girls now also in tourist shopping area doing this.

Location: oranienburger street
Nature: many well dressed women lure punters to local rooms for 50-euros for session. Punters then end up paying for extras. Naked, room, touch, massage. Total cost 400/500 Euros for sex.
These girls are professional. What they do appears to be legal. they target tourists. They don't see it as a scam. Most appear to be German.
Source: wikisex and I personally spoke to 2 of the girls. They were honest and one stated full sex is around 400/500 euros per hour.
Recourse: pull out as soon as they mention extras
Avoidance: go else where.

[UK] - Advance deposit scam - likely other places

Nature: messaging system on AdultWork - some times reverse bids where girls reach out to punters and vice versa. Girl will ask for a security deposit because they are nervous of it being a trap, or you are a time Easter, or what ever. Girl share account into. Then meeting does not happen. In some cases they threaten violence, putting you, etc...It suggests mostly British girls do this

Avoidance: never deposit
Recourse: possibly report to police.
