Everything was going good until I started getting symptoms after the third fuck

I no longer have any symptoms and feel back to normal.
However, as @feelus suggested, I do plan on getting tested again in a month or two just to be safe.
Also, I'd rather not share which STD I caught.

I did go bb and, as I mentioned in the original post, I do blame myself for thinking with my dick.
Though not an OG in this game, I've definitely had my fair share of hookers (capped and non-capped) and this is the first time I've ever caught something.

Pity you don't want to share what STD you got because it's sort of relevant.      Chlamydia is relatively common and its just a game of "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe" if you catch it, and often the woman is unware she has it.

Gonorrhea and syphilis, especially the latter are another ball game altogether; although i hear there's new strain of gonorrhea that's giving Al Capone's disease a run for its money.

And there are the ones that no one talks about, but which are very common:

Mico plasma
Urea plasma

My family doctor told me the standard tests are accurate for HIV and Syphillis, but not so accurate for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. Meaning,  a lot of false negatives for the latter two. So if you have symptoms and get a negative test, get tested again.

STDs [formerly known as VD] are equal opportunity diseases.

1. HIV can remain latent [non-detectable] for decades. If you even think there was an exposure,
get tested every 6 months for 5 years. Most HIV infections will "show-up" within this timeframe.

2. As Bob Davies mentioned, Micoplasma & Ureaplasma are rarely tested and routinely generate
seemingly neverending symptoms non-responsive to most western standard issue medical treatments.

3. Chlamydia is typically how your wife/partner catches a wandering male partner. The male is
typically without symptoms whilst most females develop "issues" within 72 hours, frequently
within 12 hours. Oops

4. During the American War era in VietNam, that gonorrhea strain was termed "VietNam Rose"
in addition to being >95% resistent to treatment. Suicides were frequent as "pissing razor blades"
gets old after 72 hours. As I have mentioned in earlier postings, VietNam Rose has grandchildren
who are very much alive and active in Asia and elsewhere.

5. The beauty of "Miss Syphillis" is that she will "go away" without treatment. Later, a purplish large
swollen groin lymph node [inguinal buboe] appears, a truly spectacular sight to behold. This too
will "go away" without treatment. Years later, however, Miss Syph returns [tertiary syphillus] with
untreatable neurological issues. At this point, you are royally screwed without a HE or BBBJ.

6. Wholeheartedly agree with hotjac that the OP should name the STD. Otherwise, how in the bloody
hell are we to know what is lurking in the local waters??

7. The HK Public STD Clinics are NOT very good at diagnosing the issues. Several years ago, when
I had "an issue", I went there. Multiple visits [>10] later, they were adament I had no infection
despite the original symptoms being unresolved. Flew to Edinburgh where a geriatric GP in NHS
quickly made the correct diagnosis & gave the correct treatment. YMMV

HIV remaining latent means you may not show symptoms for many years (generally between 2 and 10 years).

However the tests are conclusive
- 3rd generation tests (detecting antibodies) after 3 months
- 4th generation tests (also detecting p24-antigen) after 6 weeks.

May I kindly suggest a familarisation with the San Francisco USA data,
specifically the group referred to as "The 12 Disciples." These very
sexually active* gay men were asymptomatic on average of 30-40 years.

*Their sexual activity was in excess of 3,600 contacts/year.

The Corman-Drosten et al. Review Report in Eurosurveillance 2020 [27 November 2020]
gives excellent details on the litany of problems with PCR testing. Be advised, the report
is technical in nature.

The nasty strain in Asia originated and is most prolific in Japan. It's nasty AF and can't be treat by oral medication. It generally requires an extensive hospital stay and heavy intravenous antibiotics - kinda hard to explain that one to the wife.

Yeah, weak as water - if you're going to tell a story, tell the whole story based on the facts. Half-assed stories are open to (mis)interpretation and therefore spread misinformation.

This thread is so typical of this forum. the OP's message raised the fears and insecurities of everyone on here and they lash out at him for not giving enough information for each of them to distinguish themselves from his problem and therefore make themselves feel better.

Don't blame the OP if you have lingering fears and insecurities.  Just stop punting.

I don't even really comment about other's reports. I've shared helpful info over the past decade plus and helpful responses.  I don't chase karma, my field reports haven't been super well rated in the past so I lost interest I posting much of my own punts.
