I was in Urumqi, and was wondering how the scene was like.  I checked the articles in this forum, and went to the 2 locations to try my luck.  Unfortunately, the 2 places mentioned in earlier articles are converted / transformed into other businesses, and punting isn't available.

In chit-chatting with the locals, the tightening of security in Xinjiang also meant the massage parlours with additional services are crushed as well.

I basically gave up hope.  

I was just tired and went to get a massage and a nap before my meeting in the evening.  The masseuse was in her 30s/40s.  She claims to be from Gansu province.  She has a good attitude, and talks at the right amount to make you feel comfortable, but not so much that it is overbearing.

I noticed she gave extra attention to my groin area, and LB came to attention.  Eventually she asked me if I would like her to massage LB.  I asked if there could be other special services (hinting at copulation of course).  She told me she doesn't offer it, but she can hook me up with her friends who do offer sex.  She showed me some photos, but they didn't seem hot, so I passed.

She kept on teasing LB, and I accepted the price of CNY 200.  Both her regular massage and he HJ was a solid 7.
