I had a brief visit to Shanghai a few months ago for business. Pretty uneventful A lot of drinking left me tired and aching. I arrived to the airport to head home rather early and thought I would poke around for some massage places in the departures hall. I went upstairs to the 1/F food court area (near Grappa's) and saw a massage place in the distance. On my way a young woman at an info counter stopped me and asked if I was looking for massage. I said yes and she quoted me some price (I think just RMB$400) but I declined and moved on to the massage place I could see. There, it was quite busy with dudes getting haircuts and talking loudly, it was busy and I felt like if something extra was going to happen, it was unlikely to happen there. I reversed course hoping for more favorable conditions at the first place.

I returned to the info booth and was escorted by the woman there upstairs to what I then realized was an airport hotel. On the lower floor there is a sauna/spa with private massage rooms and a lounge area. This place was DEAD, there was no one else there. The manager showed me the menu which had a lot of options that were far more expensive than RMB$400... but I was in a good mood so I didn't really sweat the price. I negotiated down a bit but not too much and I think a 90 min massage was something like RMB$1000. I was a little annoyed by the upsell and misleading prices but again, I didn't really care either.

My therapist arrives and though I forget her name she was very pretty, tall and thin with a nice complexion and build. She was delicate in stature but was strong and gave a nice solid massage and she spoke some English. I was very very relaxed. I flipped over and she was massaging my upper legs and LB went to full alert mode, but I was just in my zen moment and thought it would pass. This is actually a pretty good strategy I've found because there is no words needed to be exchanged to indicate a desire, I didn't have to ask or make any moves. To my pleasant surprise she offered to help me with my affliction, and we negotiated on the extra cost, which I think was like another RMB$600. Getting pricey but I was in the mood and feeling good.

She had to push the massage bed into the far side of the large room so no one could see us through the window in the door. She seemed a bit concerned about that but nevertheless got down to business. She was pretty direct and monotonous in her style, but I got more into it when she allowed me to roam her body. I couldn't access anything because of her uniform but feeling her nice body was enough. Together it was very very effective and in short order I exploded with her smiling and urging me to keep quiet. I like that!

She continued the massage as if nothing happened and when time was up she bounced. I had a shower in the huge bathroom, paid and left.

It was expensive, but the massage and extra service was top quality, with no B2B, GFE or PSE. In the moment it was just what I needed and I recall feeling when I boarded the plane never having felt so good before a flight!

To be clear, my sense is this place is usually strict veggie, which I feel is reflected in the price... but you might have success depending on the gal.

well, you can say it is veggie, but every time i visit, i get a different one and they all have the same routine to push the table towards the wall away from the door to get some semi privacy.

Well I have been visiting it a well, I believe the place is over priced, massage is ok but for that price should be super. And 600 tip for HJ is definitely too much. But it's true than no other choice around there. Anyway I have just chosen for veggie that time.
