HK buffet

Why is buffet in HK so expensive? In the US, you can have a decent buffet around US$ 35 or HK$ 273, a bit more would probably score you some snow crab legs and such. In HK,  that's probably the starting price for a buffet.

I don't think you should compare between HK and the states ... different class and variety of food to be quite honest ... and overall cost of eating is more expensive here and portions are much smaller

but even in HK you if you don't go the the hotels for buffet you will find quite a few smaller restaurants serving buffet for around $250 - 300

price in HK

all the price in HK is weird, especially some decent or fine restaurants.

You can find 3000HKD course menu in some normal restaruat on anniversary.

should work late on that day to avoid

In HK everything is based on the rent. Everything. A beer will cost twice as much in LKF as it does in Yeun Long. Even at 7-11
