I knew I was going to be up for a very limited selection shortly before the Chinese holidays, but when LB calls, what can you do? With all the banter I think that D1 doesn't deserve the bad rep it gets here on the forum. Unlike all the other places there is no harm in just dropping in, seeing if there is anything you like and, if not, just leave again. So, my decision was clear: I would go for D1.

So I went to Shun Tao and bought the coupon. Coupons for D1 are back to HKD 1860. I attached the latest pricing table below. No more additional payment in the room. I guess the tips for the girls was more important?

By the time I arrived, it was around 6pm. There were at most 30 girls on the menu. Only one or two Chinese, the rest mostly Thai. After a quick glance nothing stuck out. I first felt a bit disappointed and thought all the other bros here were right. But the manager told me that most girls arrived late that day and that i should wait for a while until they come out. So I waited patiently over a beer. Until 98 was standing up and going back to the locker room. That body was a stunner: petite and thin with a nice rack and a very sensual walk. Chose her in an instant.

Up in the room, she went with the regular D1 procedure: massage with some HJ and body-to-body massage, then over into the bath tub where she gave me a BBBJ. Nice but nothing special. Back onto the bed, we got into DATY, 69 and eventually FS. She wanted to be in control and went for CG. Nice movements and good thrust. Went slowly into missionary (with some intermediate positions in between) and eventually shot my load in doggy.

She cleaned me up, had some smalltalk about this being the dead week and how western guys are always more exhausting than others (I guess that was supposed to make me feel sorry but only made me laugh) . Showered, went down and left being a happy man.

D1 remains the place to go for me. No other place offers this relaxed atmosphere where you are not pushed to make a quick decision (as has always been the case when I was at ECS) and the managers being very well in the know who is having a good reputation and help you pick the right girls. If all you want is a 90 minute escape, D1 is still unchallenged. I am not a big fan of the boiler room tactics going on at other places but I also agree that the selection at ECS has also always been quite outstanding with at least two or three lookers on the menu.

question, you mentioned about the price going back up... was it cheaper recently? also the weekday vs weekend price difference, is that new? i remember paying with card at FN and the price was the same so didnt know it was cheaper to pay cash now... a lot sure has changed in the past few yrs

also what is grand delexe and grand dragon, never heard of those before? from the prices they dont seem like saunas?

Hi. So I'm never and never done this before. How much is tip and is it standard to tip at all saunas? I'm making a trip at the end of April and wanted to check out a few of these locations.

Prices didn't change. What changed was the way in which D1 charged customers. Up to the end of last year, customers had to pay part of the fee to the girl in the room. This wasn't tip but a required split (as some pointed out: this was probably due to tax reason). This was changed back and thus the ticket prices are now higher. But the overall price stays the same.

Having tried this on a weekend, I can attest that there isn't a difference in price for weekdays or weekends -- at least at D1.

Can't comment on the other places as I also haven't been there.

I think you will find many hints reading through this forum. But, while tips aren't required, I always think of this as a sign of appreciation for good service. I stress "sign" which means 5% - 10% of the price I had to pay. Many saunas don't really let you bring in more than your phone. In those places, tipping is usually not practical.

wow really didnt know about the paying girl in the room part... when i was in D1 back in summer 2015 that wasnt how it was done as i got a coupon from Shun Tak and i got 2 girls and pay the extra right on the spot before going to the room, only thing i gave the girls was a good time... oh and also some gummy candies which made their day

Did you have a 90-minute session or a 60-minute session. Are both options available for 1 girl and if they are, do you know the prices for them.

I am asking because I know that a 2-girl session is 90 minutes, but I wasn't sure that 90 minutes is available with 1 girl.

The standard time for one girl at D1 is 75 minutes. However, if you buy a coupon the time increases to 90 minutes.
You should make sure the manager mentions this to the girl as they sometimes forget.
