KTV pricing inflation

Greetings, Bros. Jet here. Been a while. Back in HK.

Anyway, in case Bros weren’t aware... KTV pricing has definitely been increased lately (market forces surely at work here).

I apologize in advance if this is old news, but its news to me, and I was just here in late Spring.

From my very reliable KTV mommy, and confirmed with a few KTV hostesses—SIT is now 1000 usually for 2 hours (used to be 800), and SHORt is now 3000 (used to be 2400). Didnt inquire about OVERNIGHT—as that’s usually out my thing, and if my KTV girl stays overnight, she knows she’s only gettin the short fee.

Where do you usually go? That’s pretty cheap for HK. Prices have gone up for a while now.

At the rate the market’s performing, maybe it’ll fall back down.

Sorry, Bros. Should’ve mentioned I’m talking about TST & East-TST KTVs featuring PRC and HKID-holder girls.

I DO not know the Korean KTV pricing, nor the Taiwanese KTV pricing, as those spots are a little rich for my blood. Last I heard, 10K was minimum for takeout from those spots—at least the Taiwanese ones.

It really depends where you go. Around the TST area, I am not sure of which ones you go to but those girls are quite old. I have a little gem in CWB that I always go to. It's a Japanese KTV with a mix of nationalities there but most of the girls there are young and pretty. It's still at 800 for two ours including drinks and of course you get taken care of by the ladies.

It's 2400 still for a take out but of course this depends on the girl and since they are young, all I can say is that they are super fun to be with!

Lol. Of course, mr.edwardcollins describes young, fun, and immune to the recent across-the-board inflation thats happening on east-tst-side ktvs? who wouldnt be?

it almost sounds too good to be true, and perhaps op doesnt want to rock the boat or kill his secret golden goose by sharing anymore...?

(note: there are ktvs i know in mong kok, jordan, ymt that didnt increase prices but those are mostly hostesses by aunties... and the b-team girls...)
