Prostitution and pornography are technically illegal in China but they turn a blind eye to it as long as you don't draw too much public attention to yourself. Also the government would do a horse and pony show for the public or whatever other hidden agenda and do a random police raid from time to time. Unless the government out to get you than normally you are safe with nothing to worry about but if they are coming for your ass it doesn't really matter if they stick prostitution as your crime or not because they have countless of other bullshit crime they can to pin on you. | |
