Get a second phone if you have an iPhone, they are terrible when trying to hide things. Much easier with an Android phone.  I love Samsung’s Secure Folder setup, works really well.  You can have different apps or multiple versions of same app and no one can access except you.  You can also disguise the folder by icon and/or name, very handy.  Secure Folder is like a second phone hidden inside your normal phone.  Even if your SO goes through your phone everything looks normal.
