You will need an internet connection to use we chat/WhatsApp so better just buy a sim card.
Which hotel are you? Some hotel provide handy phone which is free.
There still have public phone booth in HK.
Or why don't you just go ring some door at those 141 places. No need to call | |

good advice, I was thinking the same. Many hotels have free Handy smart phones. |
