Yep and depends on how the wife and the WGs play the game too.
Hua Hinn is a small town. Walking thru the market with the wife and he will begin to run into WGs he keeps on a short leash aka familiar and emotionally close
and we've never known a woman to change her mind, become emotional or to be volatile. 
To many unknowns and variables beyond a bros control. Punting life and personal life need more separation IMHO
