[Thailand] [Bangkok] On the ground in Bangkok -- A Chinese New Year series
I'm jetlagged to hell right now. This will be a collection of quick thoughts for now as I'm typing this from my iPad.
I was in airports and airplanes for 24 hours. Unable to get any sleep for more than five minutes at a time. Work up at 4am Bangkok time after going to bed at 2am my first night. Flying business class for sure the next time i return to hkg.
Plaza premium lounge in HKIA Terminal 1 is better than i expected. Terminal 2 before departures has some cheap food options which i want to try out next time.
Arrived in BKK with surprisingly no issues at 9 pm. Got to immigration and i was second in line. Luggage came out once i got to the belt. Took less than 15 minutes from disembarking to exiting the airport. Really, really surprised at that.
Super Rich money exchange in the basement had three cashiers open and from line to cash took me less than five minutes. Another big surprise compared to my last trip.
Holiday Inn bangkok sumhumit 11 is farther from Sukhumvit rd than i had expected. Some slight regret at choosing this hotel as sukhumvit soi 11 has terrible sidewalks. Good internet speed though. Will check out the breakfast and gym in a couple of hours.
Reached out to two girls from Thaifriendly who i wasn't able to meet the last time i was in town. Unfortunately both said they no longer do p4p. I'm not bothering with social media or dating sites on this trip. I found it too time consuming last time.
Also reached out to two girls i saw on Craigslist bangkok casual encounters. I'll need to update this thread when i have my iphone and can remember their names. One posts her contact number as a jpg in her ad. Contacted her via whatsapp and she replied with a jpg of her services. I can't verify that this ad/girl is legit so oh well. The other girl than-momsn-something never responded.
Setup two appointments with outcall escorts. Two who i think are super hotties based on their blurred body photos. Over 10,000 baht combined which i hope is worth it. I told myself no girls over age 30 on this trip though this then means no bj bars or milfs at the massage places -- both which i think are the best value in Bangkok.
Sukhumvit soi 11 now has no massage places. All gone. Makes me sad and disappointed. The alley beside the Villa Market is emptied out. The alley parallel to that next to Ambassador Hotel is also emptied out. Specifically all the massage places are gone. Hair/nail salons and restaurants are still there for now.
Lots of freelancers on sukhumvit itself and nana/soi 4. More girls than i've ever seen on past trips. Lots of ladyboys too. Really the ladyboys are 8/10s and 9/10s when i was scouting. I like Soi 4 for freelancers but there are also a lot of ladyboys up and down the street. I've trained myself to look for the adams apple before anything else.
I knew i was too jetlagged to fuck properly so i only scouted. Couldn't find the back entrance to Thermae. Sukhumvit soi 13 only had one freelancer. If my mind and body weren't half dead from the 24 hours of travel i would've gone for her. She wasn't getting any business and relocated to Sukhumvit near holly's coffee.
Holly's coffee is my coffee shop of choice to lounge at, but i'm not a fan of their coffee itself and even less so their prices. Good location between Nana bts and Asok bts though. Turns out this one on sukhumvit is where ladyboys also hang out and sip their iced drinks. | |

For sure that Holly's is LB central in that area. I always get accosted when passing by to Sofitel. |
