While some people might be into exhibitionism, I don't think that just because people's drapes aren't drawn that it gives anyone the right to assume they're inviting voyeurs. In the throes of passion, they might have just forgotten to close the curtains. So unless someone has given you specific, expressed permission, binoculars, telescopes, telescoping lenses are pretty creepy.
