In regards to what you're saying...
I would support the following concepts; BUT, this is a side conversation to the fact that I think the forum itself should be shaded from the outside world.
- replying to threads not allowed for newbies; only ratings.
(perhaps limiting replies, allowing long replies over ### of words, but this is likely not possible to specify in the forum code).
- replying not allowed for newbies for set time doesn't really make sense to me, because if they really want in and do post a few things, they are still under a time-restriction, which isn't fair. | |
