It happened to me, freaked out like crazy and the WG immediately douched herself afterwards (though I was worried that would just push the little soldiers further up!). Anyways I went to a clinic and started a one month course of Post Exposure Prophylactic (PEP) which is the hiv cocktail infected people would take and if its done within 48 hours of exposure has a 90% chance of preventing hiv if you were with an infected partner. Did a test later and its fine, but wouldn't want to repeat the scare. Plus the PEP is expensive and gives you a messed up stomach. | |
