DIA has primarily a Filipina audience. I did chat with a few Thai girls from here and got the Line for one of them. But it turned out that she was a ladyboy and much to her amusement I was fooled by her looks. No joke. I didn't block her on Line or anything afterwards. Just gave her a polite compliment and moved on. At the same time she had changed her Line profile to say that she was a ladyboy.

In hindsight, I should've followed through on the one potential meetup.

I'd paid for the premium membership about a month before I was to leave Bangkok. This gave me a lot of leadway to work on my profile, scout for girls and line up some meetups. I'm busy as it is so this meant that I wasn't able to put real work into TF. Which ultimately didn't matter. I soon realized that the girls on TF generally fell into four categories:
- Regular girls looking for real relationships. No desire to meet tourists or travelers only in Bangkok for a short time. Actually annoyed at tourists and travelers who were on TF looking for sex.
- Regular girls willing to meet. These girls could be all over Thailand though.
- Girls there just for the social aspect of having guys give them compliments. No intention to meet anyone.
- Girls using TF to get guys to visit them at work (oily massage houses, gogo bars, etc.). Infrequent in Bangkok but prevalent if you filter for Pattaya.

Actual meetups: 0
Look at my failure rate! But more seriously, I found it difficult to schedule meetups when I would only be in Bangkok for 3 days. 2 girls weren't even in Bangkok and it was my own fault for not paying attention to seeing what city they had listed on the TF profile. 2 other girls I decided not to meetup because I prioritized the better looking girls first. The last 2 I ended up focusing on, well 1 just wasn't able to meet up due to working 6 days a week and her day off was the day I was leaving. The other girl ghosted on me and hasn't even read my Line message to her since. I'm not sure how Line works but I had a number of contacts from TF not even read the messages I'd sent to them on Line.
The very generous jake.houston also gave me a couple of recommendations so much thanks and appreciation to him. Girl #1 we were going to meet but she ghosted as well. Girl #2 never responded at all.
Back to TF and Line though, I found that most girls would just give up on you after a few days to a week. I started way too early. It would've been better if I had reached out a week or so before arriving in Bangkok. Being so far off made a lot of girls lose interest. A lot of tourists, travelers and foreigners have also created a poor reputation for us in that these guys have assumed that TF is full of free pussy and treat the girls as such. A lot of girls specifically asked if I was living in Thailand and upon hearing my response would either cease communication or tell me to look for sex elsewhere even though that topic never came up. The majority of girls barely understand English so 2 or 3 words of conversation is common (and difficult).
Another note specifically of TF, the site has an automatically recurring billing system. Remember to cancel your premium membership else you'll continue to be billed. I paid by PayPal so for me this meant logging into PayPal and cancelling the recurring payment there and not on the TF site.
Overall thoughts: TF seems good if you live in Thailand. It doesn't seem to be time efficient if you're in Thailand for less than a week. Be aware of the automatically recurring billing.
Tinder
Sad to say, the girls I was getting on Tinder were as unattractive as the girls I see at home. Blergh! Met a civilian but it's an embarrassing story with much regret.
WeChat
So many ladyboys! It didn't help that I was staying on Sukhumvit Soi 22 just up from Queen's Park Plaza where several of the bars are known for employing ladyboys, but at least a good 30% of the results from People Nearby were ladyboys. At least the ladyboys specifically said they were in their profiles. If you're into that then go with WeChat as it'll be your candy store. I did end up chatting with several massage girls advertising to come to their place of employment.
Ladyboys
For those of you scared of choosing a ladyboy, here are some things I pay attention to:
- Pre-op vs post-op. Pre-op means they still have the cock, balls and all the usual male testosterone. They're as agressive as any male with testosterone and sexual energy. This means being in your face, touchy feely with you and a high possibility of trying to pickpocket you. Stay away!
- Post-op for all intents and purposes you should consider to be female. Hormone injections, way of thinking and attitude make her female in everything but her birth assignment.
- Look for the Adam's apple. If I'm walking through an area known to have ladyboys then I'll look for the Adam's apple before checking out the girl's body.
- Ladyboys, generally pre-op, tend to look in the mirror much, much more often. They're not as confident in their appearance as a natural female so they're always checking to make sure.
- Ladyboys supposedly aren't allowed inside Thermae, so just assume that all the younger girls outside Thermae are ladyboys. There are also MILFs outside Thermae who are outside likely because they don't want to compete with the younger girls inside Thermae.
