I think the pro usually ask you what kind of arrangement you are looking for in the first few minutes while the amateur will wait for a while. IMO, this is how you distinguish the pro from the non-pro. Pro doesn't waste time nor do they want to on getting to know each other. They have to hustle. Hope this helps.
And some of them have bad attitudes. When you don't agree to their terms, they block you. It is quite easy to weed out the pros =) They weed out themselves, pretty much LOL
