OK, so it's right about the (newly-installed) room-card readers in the lifts. You have to lurk about awkwardly until a guest gets in, then quickly stab your desired room number on the pad as soon as they've hit theirs! Thankfully going down doesn't, otherwise you could be waiting for a long time...
I'm wondering if it's a none-too-subtle way of deterring agents and their gals.
I'm certainly not going back there unless Roy brings one of my all-time favourites to HK.
