For the record, I was at Golden Sauna last weekend and I can confirm that they have the same policy (about a 1100/300 split in my case); although I'd presumed that it was for tax purposes, since only the front desk charge shows up on their official receipts. As an aside, it's quite annoying in a sauna where your money is out with your clothes in a locker, and indeed you may not even have brought much cash if you'd intended just to settle up by credit card. Be aware and bring cash when you go (100s ideally). | |
