True, if she's shutting herself off from cumming it might be because it drains her too much. However, normally a cumming WG is exactly why they are in the profession - it feels so good.
An alternative, imho, is more about control. My Chinese wife is much like that. First you have to know she is a very controlling person, and I'm sure she would give the Pope lessons on how to received confessions, or how he should do mass. Sexually, she does exactly the same thing she comes right to the point of cumming and then amazingly she shuts down - completely! Personally, I'm thinking its because of one of two reasons, she hates loosing control - she must be the only one in control and me playing her like a fiddle does fit that role model.
There is another more physical aspect that is also plausible, she might be a squirter who has never squirted, and she thinks she's going to pee the bed.
